Elaine L. Long, age 94, of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Care Partners in Eau Claire.

Elaine was born July 8, 1929 to the late Edgar and Elsie (Lambrecht) Stelter in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1947. Elaine was a life-long member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. On July 12, 1947, she was united in marriage to Cecil G. Long at Our Redeemer. Along with being with her family, Elaine enjoyed many things: sewing, quilting at church, crocheting, reading, playing cards, stamping and making cards, camping, and square dancing for over 40 years with many clubs.

Elaine is survived by her children, Richard (Luanne), Connie (Michael) Omodth, and Gregory; grandchildren, Jessica (Carl) Duncan, Rebecca (Larry) Isensee, Jacob Long, Scott (Amanda) Omodth, Steven (Julie) Omodth, and Mathew (Malia) Long; great grandchildren, Winter and Mica Omodth, and Grey Long; sister-in-law, Joyce Long; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; daughter-in-law, Gail Long; sister, Shirley Garside; brothers-in-law, Dean and Vernon Long.
