Marion Eggert, aged 90, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, Heatherwood Assisted Living/Memory Care in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Marion was born February 10, 1934, daughter of the late Ludwig and Elise Faubel. On May 21, 1955, Marion married Eugene Eggert and together they raised their family in Fond du Lac. Marion devoted many years of her life to serving as a secretary with various organizations, including the Milwaukee Police Department, Planned Parenthood, and the UW Extension EFNEP program. Her career was marked by a steadfast dedication to the community and helping others.

Marion was an avid enthusiast of sewing and quilting, often spending hours crafting beautiful pieces for her family and friends. Marion was also an active member of the Teepee group, Fond du Lac Concert Association, Church of Our Saviour and the Town of Empire elections. She enjoyed camping and connecting with nature alongside close family and friends.

Marion's life was a testament to her kind spirit, generosity, and the deep love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, Dale Eggert and his wife Laura, Lynn Weber and her husband Mike, and Kurt Eggert and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley), Anne, Joshua (Brienne) and Joseph (Molly). Marion was a proud great-grandmother to Mason, Erin, and Frankie. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends. 

Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene; a sister; brothers-in-law and several sisters-in-law.
