Died: Saturday, February 24th, 2024

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eau Claire

Visitation: on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home and also one hour prior to service at church

A private interment will take place at a later date

Keith E. Richard, Jr., age 71, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at home with family by his side.

Keith was born February 4, 1953 to the late Keith and Olive (Anderson) Richard in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He graduated from Milton High School and married Diane Quade (they later divorced). Keith became a Master Plumber working with the family business before moving to Eau Claire where he started his own company, Richard Plumbing, in 1995. That same year, he married Jean Gaulrapp.

Being in the out of doors was a passion of Keith's. He competed in the Birkebeiner 11 times and in multiple marathons. If it had wheels, Keith was on it - whether it was his motorcycle, bicycle or in line skates. He was an avid hunter and loved to spend time at the cabin.

Keith is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Mike (Julia) Richard; daughter, Jenny (David) Monroe; grandchildren, Cade and Brynn Richard, June Monroe, Quinn, Gavin and Colin Lofgren; brother, Tom (Marge); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rhea (Robert) Dunham.
