Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at church on Tuesday

Glenn will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with Military Honors

Glenn William Mack, 93, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Glenn was born on January 13, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child, the family moved to Neillsville, Wisconsin in 1940. Glenn served in the Army at Fort Bragg earning the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. 

On November 28, 1957, Glenn married Janice Mae Swartling in Merrillan, Wisconsin. They spent 66 wonderful years together. Glenn and Janice were always together holding hands. They owned Mack Trucking, a U.S. Star Route Mail carrier since July of 1958 until his retirement in 2004 and they also farmed their little piece of heaven. Glenn could be seen sitting out front on the swing watching the turkeys and deer run through the fields. 

Glenn enjoyed spending time fishing at his cabin and hunting on his boys' land, but his true passion was woodworking in his barn. Each piece he crafted held a special meaning and a "grampa-ism" that made them cherished by his family. Glenn's children will always remember him as a devoted and loving husband who stood by "Ma's" side and his unwavering love is something they all strive to emulate.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Janice, and their children, Mona McCrackin, Jeff (Lisa) Mack, Vicki Mack, Greg (Vicki) Mack, Dennis (Sherri) Mack, Joe Mack, Julie (Kevin) Delikowski, and Sally (Jon) Otto; his 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Elaine Neville, Betty Lou Gutenberger, Shirley Berg, and Karen Finch; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna (Kalina) Mack, and siblings, Dorothy Janicki, Mary Ann Kanter, Tom Mack, Beverly Krueger, and Terry Mack; and infant great grandchildren.
